Privacy Policy

The short version

Your text never leaves your browser. Textoolz processes all text entirely client-side using JavaScript. No text data is sent to any server, stored in any database, or shared with any third party.

Text processing

All 53 text tools on Textoolz run entirely in your web browser. When you paste or type text into any tool, the processing happens locally on your device. Your text is never transmitted over the network. For inputs larger than 100KB, processing is offloaded to a Web Worker (a browser-side background thread) for performance — this is still entirely local to your device.

Analytics

Textoolz uses Clicky for basic website analytics. Clicky collects standard web analytics data such as page views, referring URLs, browser type, and approximate geographic location based on IP address. Clicky does not have access to any text you enter into Textoolz tools. You can review Clicky's privacy policy for details on how they handle analytics data.

Cookies

Textoolz itself does not set any cookies. The Clicky analytics service may set cookies for visitor tracking purposes. Your theme preference (light/dark mode) is stored in your browser's local storage, not as a cookie.

Data collection

Textoolz does not collect, store, or process any personal data beyond what is described in the Analytics section above. There are no user accounts, no sign-up forms, no email lists, and no tracking pixels beyond the Clicky analytics script.

Third-party services

The only third-party service used is Clicky for analytics. No other external services, advertising networks, or tracking tools are loaded on this site.

Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
